A NEW service to promote provisions for carers has been launched on Teesside.
The Carers Development Service has been devised by the Redcar and Cleveland Voluntary Development Agency (RCVDA) to raise awareness of the issues affecting carers and the people they look after.
To mark its launch, a series of events is planned at venues throughout the borough, giving useful information on the advice, services and benefits available.
Sue Reeves, of the RCVDA, said: "Most people care for someone or need care at some point in their life."
