POLICE officers continued their search for a missing North-East pensioner yesterday.
Concern is growing for the safety of 82-year-old George Winter, from Redcar, who has not been seen since Sunday.
Yesterday, officers from the Cleveland Police mounted section and the air support unit joined in a search of the area around his home, but were unable to find anything.
Mr Winter is known to be in a confused state and has wandered off before. He has difficulty walking.
He is described as being 5ft 5in tall, thin and wearing glasses. He has grey hair, but is bald on top. He was last seen wearing a dark green coat, dark brown trousers and black slip- on shoes.
