YOUNGSTERS at a Northallerton nursery got a taste of the Far-East as they celebrated Chinese New Year. Chinese food and music proved a hit with the three-year-olds from Looby Lou's Day Nursery. As well as sampling the food, the children - including Hanna Taylor, above - enjoyed dressing up in traditional costume from the country, baking, listening to stories, role plays and coin rubbing. Anne-Louise Cooper, who owns the nursery, said: "We celebrate a lot of festivals on a regular basis and the children are always taken up with all the activities." Picture: NIGEL WHITFIEL
