Auckland and District Ebac Youth League
Bishop Auckland made it four wins in as many games with a crucial 3-2 victory at home to rivals Crook Town in Saturday's top-of-the-table clash.
This was a first defeat of the season for Crook, who had won their previous three league games.
Crook took a first-minute lead through Terry Gillan. Bishops replied with a 17th minute penalty from Kevin Hamilton. Neil Robinson put Bishops ahead in the 26th minute, Steve Roberts levelling to make it 2-2 at the break. With ten minutes to go Robinson scored the Auckland winner.
In midweek, Crook won 1-0 at home to Ferryhill Athletic thanks to a second-half penalty from Dean Burn.
Chilton YC made it two league wins from two, beating visitors Willington 4-2 with goals from Steven Tobin, Craig Mason (2) and Adam Reid. Darren Duechars and Ian Wise scored for Willington.
Esh Winning lifted themselves off the bottom with a first league, 2-1 at Ferryhill. The home side did most of the pressing in the first half, but Esh took the lead in the 40th minute through James Richardson.
Two minutes before the break Esh struck another blow when Anthony Hird made it 2-0. Ferryhill again did most of the attacking in the second half, but there were only two minutes remaining when substitute Chris McDonald pulled a goal back.
Keith Hurst scored two goals on his 18th birthday to help West Auckland gain a 5-3 home success against Barnard Castle. Kevin Shoulder, Paul Gargett and Gavin Bell were Auckland's other scorers. Chris Coates (2) and Stuart Menny on target for Barnard Castle who are
anxious to sign a goalkeeper. Defender Mattie Smith had to play in goal at West and did well. Midfielder Luke Smith also shone on his return to the side after five weeks out through injury.

Chester-le-Street Juniors
THE Under-16s team were the only sides to beat the weekend weather when they won 6-0 at South Tyneside. Craig Ellison and Rob Bulch both hit hat-tricks for the Cestrians in a one-sided encounter.
The Under-15s and Under-17s' games were both postponed due to unplayable ground.
On Sunday, the Under-15s are at home to Houghton (11.00am, Riverside); the Under-16s entertain Redhouse and Downhill (1.00pm, Riverside) and the Under-17s travel to Harton and Westoe (12.30pm).
Thirsk Falcons Juniors FC

Darlington 21st Allstars
The elements were once again the winners with a snowy Sunday putting paid to all but three of the fixtures. Some teams have now played once in eight weeks.
At 11-a-side, the U-11s, in the top four of Division Three of the Teesside Alliance with games in hand, added a much-needed three points to their total with a 4-2 victory at Billingham Wolves.
Allstars, 2-0 up at half-time, courtesy of two Freddie Huscroft goals, started the second-half in the same vein and Huscroft completed his hat-trick with a memorable goal. Billingham did manage a couple but Ben Claxton got the Allstars' fourth to make the final scoreline an accurate reflection on the game. Huscroft was MoM both for goalscoring and hard work.
At seven-a-side in the Richmondshire League the Under-nines travelled to Colburn and gained 1-0 and 2-1 victories.
Dean Bland helped himself to yet another brace of goals and Will Bolland got the other. Jack Binks and Darren Swankie were MoM.
The Under-nine Colts were also at Colburn in the Richmondshire League drawing the first game 1-1 but winning the second 9-0.
Connor Richings got four goals, Sean Simpson three, Andrew Collins two and the other came in the first match from Tom McCabe. Richings and Simpson were men of the match.
Willington Boys
Martin Hopps scored a well taken hat-trick to help the Under-14s to a 5-2 victory in their top clash with Birtley St Joseph's in the Russell Foster League, Premier Division. David Jackson and Liam Howe got the other goals with Howe sharing the MoM award with Hopps.
Willington U13s beat visitors Sunderland St Joseph's 3-2 in the Ray Foster Cup with goals from MoM Warren Robinson (2) and Michael Welsh. The Willington Under-12s came from behind to win 2-1 at South Tyneside in the league cup, MoM Adam Crombie and Adam Robinson on target.
