THREE budding dance stars got the chance to shine as they took a taste of national fame.
Young pupils from a Great Ayton dance school were seen by millions of viewers last Friday as they appeared in the Michael Barrymore show, My Kind of Music.
Four-year-olds Francesca Clarke, Olivia Hannan and Danielle Charlton performed their own version of Ba-Ba Black Sheep to their own tap routine.
"It is such a big achievement for them as they are so young," said Margaret Connelly, who runs the Bradley School of Dance which the girls attend.
The trio got the chance to sample the big time after Mrs Connelly saw an advert for auditions and decided to take a chance. Her action paid off and the girls were invited to Glasgow to the recording of the show.
"This is the first time we have had anyone on such a high-profile show," said Mrs Connelly. "We are so proud of them."
