The use of Sedgefield Parish Hall as classrooms for pupils from the fire-damaged Sedgefield Hardwick Junior School has meant changes of venues for several village organisations. The boardroom in the parish hall will still be available for some meetings, however.
Sedgefield Community Association, which runs Ceddesfeld Hall, has come to the rescue for some organisations, while Sedgefield Players have arranged to meet in the Methodist Hall on Wednesdays, from 7pm to 10pm. The same venue will be used by the Women's Institute Market on Friday mornings. Boardroom meetings will include the annual WI Market meeting on February 5, WI and Civic Trust meetings.
Also moving to Ceddesfeld Hall are the martial arts class on Mondays, Brownies on Tuesdays, Weightwatchers on Wednesday, and wildlife group on Thursdays; plus St Edmund's Church Shrove Tuesday pancake making.
The aerobics class will be held in Rectory Row School on Thursday evenings.
A computer class will be held in the town council offices on Thursday evenings.
