POLICE are investigating a house fire on Teesside.
The flames at the terraced home in Outram Street, Middlesbrough, took firefighters 30 minutes to bring under control.
No one was at home at the time of the blaze, but crews arrived at the scene to find the front door open. The ground floor was destroyed, with 75 per cent fire damage to the first floor of the house.
Station officer Jeff Marwood said police were investigating the circumstances. He said: "It is being treated as suspicious and is under investigation.
