POLICE chiefs will meet residents on Tyneside next week to discuss crime problems.
Gateshead West's senior officer, Superintendent Brian Graham, will talk about plans for future policing of the area at a meeting in Birtley Council Offices, Durham Road, Birtley, on Tuesday, at 7pm.
At 7pm, on Wednesday, Gateshead East's senior officer, Acting Superintendent Peter Woods, will attend a meeting in Heworth Grange Comprehensive School, High Lanes, Heworth, to respond to questions and discuss policing matters.
The meetings have been organised by Northumbria Police Authority.
