FINAL details of a £300,000 scheme to make a Weardale community safer and greener go on display on Monday.
An exhibition of work proposed for Wolsingham will be launched at the town library.
It will illustrate how the views of local people and police, gathered during consultation, have been incorporated in the project.
The revised scheme allows for a two-way traffic system behind the library to remain, with additional features, including parking bays outside shops, which should make the town safer for pedestrians and motorists. Crossing points will be created and bollards added to discourage parking at junctions and next to bus stops.
New street furniture and plants will also be installed when the work starts in March.
The exhibition runs until February 19
