Spennymoor are facing a crucial away game at Frickley this afternoon.
Moors are currently bottom of the table, six points behind their opponents, and to have any chance of avoiding the bottom two places they need a victory this afternoon.
Manager Peter Mulcaster said: "We showed plenty of spirit in the defeat by Bishop Auckland in midweek, so if the players can reproduce that, then we have every chance."

Bishop Auckland, meanwhile, can keep their grip on third place by beating Barrow at Kingsway.
Manager Tony Lee could recall defenders Thomas Dunn and Steve Hutt to the squad after missing the midweek win, while he includes Danny Mellanby in his squad after a possible move to Darlington was put on ice.
Whitby Town are at home to Hyde, and will be without Marc Eccles, Ben Dixon and Lee Ure.

Shields visit sixth-placed Windscale who, with games in hand on the sides immediately above them, look to have a realistic chance of finishing fourth. The Robins, just a point adrift of Nissan, will be minus suspended skipper Anthony Robson and defender Paul Hogg.
Manager Terry Paddison can call upon Neil Hartley, who resumed as a substitute last week following injury. Midfielder Joe Moore also comes into the reckoning.
Wolviston manager Graham Howard is expected to name a full-strength side with the return of full back Ian McQueeney.
Harton and Westoe have a trio of defenders returning for their visit to Annfield Plain as they hope to maintain their outside chance of clinching the title. Keith Mason, Wayne Goodwin and Andy Blower all come into the frame.
Plain boss Kevin Drinkeld hopes goalkeeper Andy Annan will be able to turn out and he is likely to hand a home debut to Martin Lee.
Jarrow visit Stanley United with Barry Huskisson, Eddie Paterson and Barry Roberts all available but doubts surround the fitness of Lee Jackson, Gary Aisbitt and captain Dean Whiting
