A TEESSIDE MP will be hosting a question-and-answer session tomorrow, giving pensioners the chance to question a Government minister.
Ashok Kumar, the MP for Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland, has invited York MP and Social Security Minister Hugh Bayley to speak to pensioners in Guisborough.
Dr Kumar said that while a lot was being done to help pensioners locally and nationally, there were still some issues which needed to be addressed.
He said: "That is why I have invited Hugh to meet with local pensioners and to hear what they have to say.
"This helps inform the Government, and means that local pensioners can have their say with a top policy maker. I am sure there will be a big turnout."
The meeting takes place in the Stumps Cross Community Centre, from 3.15pm to 4.15pm.
