PLANS to build 12 homes at West Cornforth are to be considered by councillors tomorrow.
Sedgefield Borough Council will decide whether Lafarge Redland Aggregates should be granted outline planning permission for eight semi-detached houses and garages on land east of Stobb Cross Farm, in Stobb Cross Road, West Cornforth.
The site is a redundant farm with a steel-clad barn.
The company has also applied for permission to convert a former milking parlour, stables and store room on the site into a house and three flats.
No objections to either part of the proposals, which have been recommended for approval by the local authority's planning officers, have been received by the borough council.
Members of the authority's planning committee will decide on the plans tomorrow.
