DISABLED people are being asked for their help in breaking down barriers.
A consultation morning, organised by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, takes place at the Redcar Education Development Centre on Monday.
The meeting will help to develop a Welfare to Work Joint Investment Plan to be produced in April.
Included in the plan's aims are identifying how existing services can be tailored towards work and the barriers to work for disabled people and to examine how disabled people can take up employment.
It is being developed by a multi-agency partnership including representatives from health, social services, business and the voluntary sector.
