WHAT happens if you take two teachers and 27 year six pupils, pull them out of their cosy homes for five days and dump them in the freezing Yorkshire Dales.
Well this . . .
They set off for their adventure on a Monday, with great excitement about the week ahead of them.
They have to look after each other to survive these tasks consisting of orienteering, a jungle gym, rock climbing, treasure hunting, visiting lead mines, studying rock, cave and river formations, and many other activities.
But most of all, looking after each other, and making new friends.
The schools that do go also do night activities, such as walking in woods and going under-ground in caves.
At Bewerley Park, you can borrow wellies thick water-proofs and crash helmets. But unfortunately at the end, you have to clean the dormitory, the minibuses, and everything that you have borrowed.
If you forget to put your wet clothes in the drying rooms, then tough luck!
On Thursday night, Bewerley Park holds a talent show for anyone to go on stage, just for fun.
At the end of the week, pupils troop on to the bus, tired and weary, from the great week gone by.
So that is what happens if you take two teachers, 27 year six pupils, pull them out of their cosy homes for five days and dump them in the freezing Yorkshire Dales together with other year six pupils from other schools.
