A BUS load of students on their way to college in Darlington escaped injury today when their coach was involved in a collision with a car in North Yorkshire.
It's understood the bus had stopped to let on on-coming vehicle through a narrow gap in Middleton Tyas, near Scotch Corner when the latter slid into its side.
No one was hurt but both the bus and a Ford Galaxy people carrier became wedged together, closing the road until a recovery vehicle arrived to pull them apart.
The students were loaded onto another bus, arriving at Darlington College a few minutes late for their lectures.
