POSTOFFICE workers in Hartlepool held a lightening strike today in a dispute over overtime.
Around 100 staff at Hartlepool's post office depot in Clark Street stopped work just before 7am in dispute over the amount of mail being handled by staff.
The walkout comes around a year after workers took similar unofficial industrial action over the same issue.
No deliveries were expected to be made today and union leaders and management were expected to continue talks with workers expected back at work tomorrow.
