A DOG had to be rescued by firefighters after falling between the soil and brickwork of a house extension.
Cleveland firefighters were called to Grassington Road, Beechwood, Middlesbrough, at 6.30pm on Saturday by the animal's owner. They found the dog's hind legs trapped between a gap in the extension.
The dog was freed unhurt.
