TWO of the North-East's best known hotels are being put up for sale.
The Croft Spa Hotel, at Croft, near Darlington, has an asking price of £1,150,000.
The hotel, which is on the County Durham and North Yorkshire border, has 36 ensuite bedrooms, a public bar, ballroom, restaurant, conference and leisure facilities, gardens, a three bedroom cottage and parking for 75 cars.
The Teesdale Hotel, in Middleton in Teesdale, is also for sale, at £395,000.
It has 14 bedrooms, a lounge bar, restaurant and tapas bar.
The estate agent is Ian Moralee and Co, on 0191-212 2007.
