TELEVISION chefs Gary Rhodes and Ainsley Harriot have given their backing to a Darlington school's healthy eating initiative.
Abbey Junior School is producing a booklet aimed at promoting healthy eating and exercise. The booklet contains 40 healthy recipes and ten exercise and has been endorsed by Gary Rhodes and Ainsley Harriot. Headteacher George Ford said: "It's nice to get away from the humdrum of literacy and numeracy and do something different, but at the same time part and parcel of school life."
