A TRAINEE cleric who died in a university gym was remembered last night by fellow students.
A memorial service was held in Leech Hall, St John's College, part of Durham University, for Claire Burton-Page, 24.
Miss Burton-Page, originally from Paris, died suddenly last month while exercising on a static rowing machine. She had been studying at the college for a diploma in ministerial studies and was due to start work at All Saints' Church, in Darlington.
Her funeral was held in Chantilly in France last month. The memorial service was conducted by college principal The Right Reverend Professor Stephen Sykes, former Bishop of Ely
