THE skeletal remains of three humans, believed to be many hundreds of years old, have been discovered during building repairs in North Yorkshire.
Norton postmaster James Hands was taking up floorboards, damaged in floods, when he saw the first skeleton.
Experts believe they are remains from the old graveyard of St Peter's Church, Norton, which was demolished in the early 20th Century.
It is thought that they date from medieval times, although there is a chance they could date to the Roman era.
