Valentine's Day has been and gone and one handsome chap is still looking for love.
Eighteen-month-old Flynn is a lurcher/saluki cross breed who has been named after Hollywood sex symbol Errol Flynn, because he is so handsome.
But Flynn doesn't have the chance to try his charms with the ladies of Teesside because he is in need of a new home.
Flynn is a stray who has been in foster care for more than a year now after he was rescued by Saltburn Animal Rescue Association (Sara).
But the charity is having trouble rehoming him, because of his size.
Ann Prosser, Sara's homing officer, said the charity has trouble rehoming lurchers and greyhounds generally. Flynn is a very handsome and lovable animal, but people are put off providing a full-time home for him because he is so big.
Miss Prosser said Flynn would be better suited to a home where he is the only dog and needs someone who can lavish lots of attention and discipline training on him and will spend a lot of time exercising him.
Anyone who thinks they have room for a lovable big dog should call the charity on (01287) 633338.
