PEOPLE who would like to become volunteers in their community have been given a boost with the appointment of a development officer.
Carolynne Withers has begun work as a volunteer development officer at the Stockton Borough Voluntary Development Agency (SBVDA).
The agency already places a number of volunteers in a wide range of organisations and groups across the Stockton area.
The appointment of Ms Withers provides the opportunity for a significant expansion of this work.
Anyone who would like to become a volunteer or if organisations are looking for volunteers they are asked to contact Ms Withers on (01642) 355292.
