MORE affordable homes for Dales residents are among the top priorities, as the region looks to the future.
The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority's in the process of updating its blueprint for the future - and has been asking people who live in the region for their input.
And, one of the most important issues for local communities was the lack of property for younger families to move into.
Limits which would prevent developers selling new houses as second homes are now in the melting pot as a review of the Yorkshire Dales Local Plan gets under way.
However, active support for diversification in farming and tight controls on mobile phone masts are also on the list.
National Park strategic planning officer, Nichola Drummond said: "I am pleased the review has generated such a large amount of valuable comment.
"Because the Local Plan has such an important role to play in planning decisions, which will affect the quality of life of everyone in the National Park, it is vital that we have given the community the chance to have their say at such an early stage."
