Bishop Auckland could be away to Hyde United in the next round of the UniBond League Cup.
Bishops are still waiting for the outcome of the Whitby and Blyth group game before they know whether they will be playing in the quarter finals of the League Cup, or the Presidents Cup.
Places in the league cup quarter finals go to the eight group winners with the best records, while the President's Cup is a consolation for the next eight teams.
Blyth needed to win by four clear goals at Whitby last night to deny Bishops a place in the quarters.
The draw for the league cup quarter finals is: Belper v Droylsden, Hyde v Bishop Auckland or Blyth, Lancaster v Bamber Bridge, Marine or Burscough or Vauxhall Motors v Gainsborough
President's Cup, Quarter finals: Bishop Auckland or Blyth v Workington, Farsley v Accrington Stanley, Harrogate Town or Ashton United v Stalybridge Celtic, Hucknall v Marine or Burscough or Witton Albion or Vauxhall Motors.
The change in format to a bigger group structure in the league cup has backfired this season.
The original intention was for all the group games to be played by the middle of December and the quarter finals to be played by the end of January, but the bad weather and FA Cup commitments of some teams has meant that seven group games were still to be completed by the start of this week.
In the past, groups consisted of three teams, but this season the League decided that groups should consist of at least four teams in each.
Bottom team Spennymoor United have a crunch home game with Frickley on Tuesday.
Moors, beaten 2-0 at Frickley, are 12 points adrift of the Yorkshire club, and if they are to have a chance of staying in the Premier Division, need to win. Even then, Moors would still be facing a rather impossible task.
