AN award-winning party venue has teamed up with a radio station to broadcast a weekly live party night aimed at kick-starting the weekend.
The Baja Beach Club, on Newcastle's Quayside, next to the Swing Bridge, is broadcasting live on Metro Radio every Friday from 11.30pm.
The venue, for over-18s, has earned accolades for being the UK's best themed nightclub and the best discotheque in the North of England, for its beach club interior and entertainment.
Metro Radio brand development manager Jon Shackleton said: "Our live broadcast means listeners can share in the fun."
Steve Bluer, Baja's manager, said "We were the first venue to provide nightly dance routines from the stars like The Jacksons, The Spice Girls and the Weather Girls. Once again, Baja leads the way."
