PEOPLE living in the Hundens Lane area of Darlington are being warned to expect inconvenience caused by cable work over the coming weeks.
Residents have been contacted by Balfour Beatty Power Networks about plans to install underground cables.
The work will not affect refuse collection. Access to rear drives, garages and allotments will be maintained.
The work should take eight weeks, and during that time the rear lane of Hundens Lane will be closed to through traffic.
Cleveland Street Railway Bridge will also be affected, and there will be disruption in Haughton Road, Barton Street, Allan Street, North Road, Whessoe Road, Longfield Road and Percy Road over the coming months.
