THE country's only potash mine has gone online with a website.
Cleveland Potash, which ships its product around the world, supplies almost half of the potash used by UK farmers.
Naturally occurring potash is used to replace potassium and other essential minerals, which can be lost from soil that is regularly harvested.
Cleveland Potash, in Saltburn, has produced a website to show how the firm has developed during the last 30 years.
The website also shows how the company produces salt for road de-icing and inclusion in animal feeds and sylvinite, a fertiliser. The site can be found at clevelandpotash.co.uk.
