A GROUP of dance students have raised £600 to help improve the church hall they practise in.
Members of the Rachel Harrison School of Dance, in Darlington, raised the money for St Mark's Church, in North Road with a show called Movie Nostalgia at Polam Hall School.
The money will be used to improve the flooring and security at the church hall.
Rachel Harrison said: "Instead of raising money for a national charity it was decided by the students to help a cause closer to home.
"The students will also see the benefits when they use the hall for their practises and classes.
