A DRAMA group have vowed that the show will go on, despite having to move to a temporary new home.
Sedgefield Players, who are rehearsing for their first play of the year, were among several organisations in the village affected by a fire at Hardwick Primary School last month.
The school was so badly damaged that the parish hall, where the players usually rehearse, has been taken over as temporary classrooms.
As a result, the players have moved to the Methodist Church hall and will be performing in the Sedgefield Community College drama studio until the school is repaired.
The group's first play of the year is Gym and Tonic, a come dy by John Godber.
It has been entered for the Isle of Man 50th Drama Festival, at Easter.
The Players are hoping to do even better at the festival this year after finishing third overall and winning the best actor award last year.
Gym and Tonic will be performed at the community college on March 15, 16 and 17, at 7.30pm.
Tickets costing £4, or £3.50 for concessions, are available from Selections, Dorothy Gaskarth Optometrist, or the Players, on (01740) 620091.
