A PUB brawler was yesterday ordered to be electronicallytagged and banned from his local.
Steven Wilson, 28, attacked two staff at the Black Bull, in Northallerton, after an all-day drinking session.
Judge David Bryant banned Wilson from the pub for 12 months when he appeared at Teesside Crown Court.
The judge also imposed a 6pm to 5am curfew on Wilson for six months.
Wilson, of Meadow Lane, Northallerton, was also ordered to do 200 hours of community service work.
He pleaded guilty to unlawfully wounding Paul Nicholson, partner of the licencee, and an actual bodily harm assault on part-time barman Christopher Holland.
Amanda Perry, prosecuting, said Wilson became violently drunk during a football team event in December 1999.
He quietened down for a while, but his girlfriend and another player's girlfriend began fighting.
Wilson became involved and, during the fracas, he head-butted Mr Holland.
Wilson denied the attack, but added: "It I am going to get blamed for something, I might as well do something." He then punched Mr Nicholson.
Michael Bosomworth, defending, said that Wilson, a turkey factory worker, did not start the trouble.
Wilson was also ordered to pay £300 compensation each to Mr Holland and Mr Nicholson
