THE atmosphere is getting poisonous at one of the region's leading attractions.
A number of slippery customers have taken up residence at the Yorkshire Museum, in York, for an exhibition running until June.
Fangs brings the world of venomous creatures to life, featuring snakes, scorpions and spiders of all shapes and sizes.
Until tomorrow, children and their parents will have the chance to get to know some of them better, at snake-handling sessions.
The sessions run from 11am to noon, and 2pm to 3pm, when experts will be on hand to share their secrets.
