VIEWERS will be given an amazing insight into the habits of the stars after Comic Relief confirmed it is to stage a Celebrity Big Brother.
The identities of the six celebrities are being kept secret until immediately before the show, but organisers have guaranteed they are all household names.
Kevin Cahill, chief executive of Comic Relief, said: "It will prove to be unmissable television."
As in the original Big Brother, viewers will have the chance to vote out their least favourite housemates.
The shows - beginning on March 9 with the final eviction on Red Nose Day, March 16 - are a collaboration between BBC1, Channel 4 and production company Bazal.
The purpose-built house will be exactly the same as the one in the show which gripped the nation last year.
The participants, who will not receive fees, will also have the opportunity to vent their feelings in the Diary Room.
Each day, the participants will be faced with choosing two people for eviction and then it will be up to the nation to decide.
The contestants must wear their microphones at all times as they are followed around the famous house by a host of cameras.
