PEOPLE living in the Hundens Lane area of Darlington have been warned to be vigilant against fly-tippers.
Local councillor Ian Haszeldine said he had received a number of complaints.
Items dumped have included shopping trolleys, household waste and tree branches.
Coun Haszeldine said: "If people see things being dumped, take a registration number or a name and let me or the council know."
The problem is centred around the bottom of Hundens Lane, and on wasteland off John Dixon Lane.
Other areas causing a problem include Yarm Road, McMullen Road and Lingfield Road.
To report a problem, call the council on (01325) 388777.
