Hetton Youth League
The league fared badly in the Durham County Youth Cup, both Springwell and Herrington losing in the semi-finals.
Springwell held Jarrow St Bedes to a 3-3 draw following extra time but Jarrow won 4-2 on penalties. Scott Robertson, Chris Feasey and Ali Lamb were on target for Springwell.
There was no score following extra time when Herrington met Crook but the visitors proved to be the stronger outfit in additional time and won 2-0 with goals from Stephen Tompkins and Paul Freary.
Unfortunately for Herrington, they lost goalkeeper Scott Young during extra time. He was taken to hospital with suspected concussion.
One game was played in the League Subsidiary Cup and Ryhope just edged Lumley 2-1. Michael Thompson was on target for Lumley and a couple of goals from Mark Thompson earned Ryhope a narrow victory.

Junior League
Consett topped the scoring stakes when they put nine goals past Tow Low who are still without a point.
Chris McGhinn recorded a hat-trick, but Andrew Elliott and Andrew Poole scored twice and Paul Charlton and Jonathan Cummings added to the woes of Tow Law whose consolation goal was netted by Mark Foster.
South Moor were also in scoring form when they visited Swalwell. Despite a brace by Mark Foggin, Swalwell lost 6-2 when Kelvin Armstrong (2), Lee Tweedie (2), Carl Muirhead and Kris Ewart all struck for South Moor.
Dunston Federation went nap at Cleveland Hall. Alex Scott bagged an a brace and others flowed from Paul Lennon, Chris Webb and Stephen Vickers while for Gary Crawford and Graham Smith scored for Cleveland Hall .
Six goals were recorded when West Denton lost 4-2 to visitors Redheugh. Damian Anderson and Paul Watson struck for West Denton with Michael Huggin, Graham Burkes and Jason Singh responding for the Reds.
In contrast, only two goals were scored when Newcastle East End and Percy Main shared the points. Paul Blakes was the East End marksman and Dominic Elliott responded.

IN-FORM Corinthians made it 17 straight wins with a 6-2 victory over Catterick AWS. Goals from Daniel Fox (2), Jason Bradley, Jamie Stokes, Lewis Harrison and Daniel Wright secured an impressive win. Man of the match was Jamie Stokes.
