A COMPANY that provides out-of-hours primary care to people in the North-East is restructuring to give patients a better service.
Healthcall provides out-of-hours cover for GPs and is based on a network of primary care centres, with 31 branches including one in Stockton and another at Newcastle.
Under reorganisation, the branches will be split into two rather than three regions, with two new regional directors appointed, including Isabelle Hutchinson, who will cover the North and and be based in Leeds.
Medical division managing director Iain Anderson said: "The marketplace is changing daily, We have a very robust three-year plan and I am certain that with the loyalty, commitment and dedication of our staff we will be able to deliver that."
A clinical director will also be appointed to try to bring senior managers closer to the day-to-day running of the business
