A NIGHT out in Bishop Auckland cost a 23-year-old man more than £300 yesterday.
Christopher Davison, of Elm Terrace, Bishop Auckland, apologised to magistrates in Newton Aycliffe for his behaviour outside the Queens Hotel in the early hours of last Sunday.
He admitted using threatening behaviour towards a bouncer trying to eject him from the pub, and resisting a policeman's attempts to put him in handcuffs.
He was ordered to pay fines totalling £250, plus £55 costs.
