A NIGHTCLUB is hoping to attract youngsters off street corners and through the doors.
Progression, formerly Dexy's, in East Street, Darlington has launched a night for 13 to 18-year-olds.
Only soft drinks are served at the Tuesday night events, which have been backed by police, Darlington Borough Council and local youth workers.
The first attracted more than 70 teenagers and organisers hope it will continue to be a success.
