YOUNGSTERS are about to start work on sprucing up a rundown church hall in record time.
The group of 16 to 24 year-olds have two weeks to transform the building at Holy Trinity Church, West View, Hartlepool, as part of a Prince's Trust course.
They will paint the walls, and make general repairs.
Work on the hall, which has a creche, bingo sessions and a drama group, begins on Monday, March 5.
It is part of a course being offered through the New Deal scheme, based at the church, which aims to find work for unemployed people.
