YOUNGSTERS from a junior football team will be wearing new fleece jackets when they tackle teams from all over the country at Easter.
The Under-14s team from Bishop Auckland District Football Association have secured sponsorship from J Barbour and Sons in Crook.
Team secretary Garry Purcell said the team was travelling to the Isle of Wight for the competition, organised by the English Football Association, and had sent out letters to organisations requesting sponsorship.
He said the team had already received support from Barnard Castle Parish Council.
The team has also organised a race night at Spennymoor Town Hall, on Friday, March 9, at 7pm, to help raise funds for the trip
