THE results of a study into the quality of life in six north Durham villages go on display this weekend.
Following mass consultations in Tantobie, Tanfield Village, Sleepy Valley, Clough Dene, White-le-Head and Flint Hill, residents will get their first glimpse of the results.
The year-long study, overseen by the Six Villages Steering Group, revealed common problems including lack of facilities for bored youngsters, speeding traffic, and ramshackle bus stops and roads.
Tantobie Community Centre will hold a public consultation day on Sunday, for people to discuss the results and view a display of photographs of the area. The event, between 2pm and 4.30pm, is open to all and includes free refreshments
