STAFF at South Durham Healthcare NHS Trust can take advantage of a new counselling service from next month.
The employee assistance programme, offered by the Personal Performance Consultants company, will be available to all staff and their immediate family.
It aims to provide independent and professional advice on a wide range of issues via a 24 hour helpline, including relationship difficulties, coping with stress, substance abuse, legal disputes and financial and career issues.
All trust staff have already received a card with their pay slips detailing how the service can help them.
