A CHARITY is appealing for volunteers to help collect funds for cancer sufferers.
Marie Curie Cancer Care has launched its annual appeal in Barnard Castle and is urging anyone willing to help with street collections in County Durham to contact them.
Area fundraising manager Carol Oliver said: "We plan to have a collection in Barnard Castle on March 10.
"If anyone is able to spend a couple of hours on that day I would love to hear from them."
