A BID for £1m of National Lottery cash to carry out improvements to a cemetery has won council backing.
The scheme for Linthorpe Cemetery, Middlesbrough's oldest burial ground, has been finalised. The project, costing £1,729,000, includes the conversion of a chapel into a museum.
