A PICTURE has been released of the man police want to talk to in relation to a brutal attack on a woman.
Last week, The Northern Echo reported how 34-year-old Tracey Todd had declared she would never leave her house again after she was attacked for the second time in five years, in the South Bank area of Middlesbrough.
She was attacked from behind as she walked through the Old Man's Park area, on Wednesday, February 21. A man tried to grab her bag before he ran off in the direction of Normanby Road, leaving her with injuries to her face, shoulder and hand.
The man is described as 5ft 9in tall, of slim build and with dark hair and a mottled complexion. He was wearing a light canvas jacket, jeans or dark trousers and a black woollen hat with a motif on the front.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cleveland Police on (01642) 301937.
