ENERGY-conscious people in north Durham can pick up advice at a road show next week.
Derwentside District Council's Energy Efficiency Advice Roadshow goes to Consett on Friday.
The road show aims to give energy-saving tips to residents and introduce them to products such as water butts, composters, rain traps and low-energy light bulbs.
There will be a free tombola for people who complete an energy savings form.
Tom Cooke, event organiser, said: "This provides the ideal opportunity for residents of Derwentside to receive expert advice on energy consuming issues, and underpins the council's commitment to raising awareness of the issue."
The road show will be at Consett Market, Middle Street, between 9am and 3.30pm.
