Spennymoor's home game with Bishop Auckland was postponed after just 16 minutes of play on Tuesday night because of heavy snow.
Moors chairman Barrie Hindmarch says he thought at one stage there would be a full 90 minutes, but that wasn't to be the case.
"At 7.15, there was only a very light covering of snow on the pitch," he said.
"But just after the game started, the snow fell heavily, and completely obliterated the lines. There was no way the game could continue."
Hindmarch, meanwhile, will represent the club at a management meeting of the UniBond League on Sunday, following their recent postponement of the game at Colwyn bay a fortnight ago. They are expected to be hit with a fine and/or a points deduction.
The League has given Runcorn permission to give spectators free admission for their home game against Bishop Auckland next month.
The match is being staged at Widnes rugby League stadium, as Runcorn consider whether to make the move permanent next season
