A DARLINGTON Internet consortium has clinched a deal to represent the German lottery NKL in cyberspace.
Ezysite.com, Internetresort.co.uk and net-lifestyles.co.uk have joined forces for the successful tender.
Andrew Hutton, of ezysite.com is delighted to be able to promote the product.
He said: "This is a great win for the consortium. We are delighted to promote a quality product in the quickly expanding market for online lotteries."
He added: "The NKL will initially be promoted in the North-East and on the Internet on germanlottery.co.uk. A successful launch will lead to a nationwide campaign."
NKL stands for Nordwestdeutsche Klassenlotterie, or Northwest German Class Lottery, which was founded in Hamburg in the 17th Century.
The lottery runs twice a year, with the 106th starting in April.
The win structure focuses on mid-range wins of goods or cash valued between £400 and £350,000, as well as an £8m jackpot.
