All Saints Church, in Skelton, east Cleveland, has opened the town's first charity shop, to raise money to keep the church running, and provide a much-needed service to the community.
Audrey Kirby, from the church, said: "We have had a steady flow of people coming in and asking what we would like them to donate, and people coming to buy. The response has been great."
The High Street shop will be open 9.30am until 12.30pm, Monday to Friday, and 1.30pm until 3.30pm, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
