The audience will take decisions, make judgments and get involved in the action in a free inter-active event before the main show at Harrogate Theatre next week.
The Royal National Theatre is presenting Bertolt Brecht's The Good Woman Of Setzuan, from Tuesday to Saturday, in the town, on the only Yorkshire date of a nationwide tour.
Before each performance, the RNT acting company will lead an event aimed at giving audiences the chance to explore the play beforehand.
In keeping with the playwright's own approach to theatre, playgoers will be able to take an active role in the proceedings.
This new production of Brecht's play, translated by Tanika Gupta and directed by Stephen Powell, takes a modern, streetwise approach to the 1940s text, as three Gods attempt to find one good person in the trouble-hit province of Setzuan.
The Good Woman Of Setzuan can be seen at Harrogate Theatre from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive, next week, at 7.30pm. The pre-show event starts at 6pm.
Tickets costing £4.40 to £14 are available from the box office on (01423) 502116
